The back pages of the English press on transfer deadline day are dominated with stories concerning Manchester United.
Monday was a crazy day at Old Trafford.
Adnan Januzaj went out on loan to Borussia Dortmund, Javier Hernandez completed a permanent move to Bayer Leverkusen, and David De Gea DID NOT end up moving to Real Madrid in a barmy day at the Theatre of Dreams.
On the flipside, Anthony Martial arrived in Manchester from Monaco, as the 19-year-old French forward emerged from nowhere as a late United target in the window.
United are tipped to spend around 36 million pounds on Martial.
Looking at the splashes of the English press on Tuesday, many of the papers appeared to have been caught out the late collapse of the De Gea deal to Spain, while Man United and Louis van Gaal are savaged for their late moves in the transfer market.
Terms like ‘panic buy’, ‘loopy’ and ‘turmoil’, are strewn across the back pages.
