Bournemouth are poised to splash some significant cash on transfer deadline day as Glenn Murray is set to complete a £5m move from Crystal Palace.

Murray is a huge favourite at Selhurst Park, but the arrivals of Connor Wickham and Patrick Bamford in the transfer window seems to have pushed Murray out the Palace door.

Taking the emotion out of the deal from Palace’s perspective, getting in five million pounds for a 31-year-old striker who looked set for limited game time this season appears to be a good piece of business.
