It just had to be!
A day after Leo Messi’s second son was born, you just knew the Argentine would be pulling out a baby celebration at the Vicente Calderon.
When Fernando Torres put Atletico Madrid 1-0 up at the start of the second half, Messi was still on the bench.
After a tough match in poor conditions for Argentina in midweek and with the new arrival, Luis Enrique clearly felt his captain could do with a rest.
Messi was brought on for Ivan Rakitic on 60 minutes and then scored the winner on 77 – Luis Suarez should also receive credit for the assist.
Once again, the MSN have sunk one of La Liga’s best teams with Neymar grabbing the equaliser with a great free-kick.
Messi’s goal, celebration and the reaction to it on Twitter are below.

Great decision to give Messi a go from the bench, maybe he's earned a start next week with that goal

Messi puts Barca ahead. What a way for him to 'wet the baby's head.' My US colleagues say that expression is lost on them!

Tremendous from Suarez, using his body to weight that pass & roll it into in the space. Stunning finish. Barca are pretty good at football.
