New Manchester United striker Anthony Martial is not a prolific footballer on social media.
At least he wasn’t before joining Manchester United.
So far, during his Manchester United career, there have been just two new posts on Instagram.
The first was a picture of the number 9 Martial shirt. And, then on Saturday night, Martial posted an image of him celebrating the now famous debut goal versus Liverpool.
Martial was introduced by Louis van Gaal after the hour mark as a substitute for Juan Mata and came up with the winner just after Christian Benteke had pulled the game back to 2-1.
The former Monaco striker was fairly subdued on Instagram, added the following message to his picture:
“I’m very happy for the victory thank you all for your support @manchesterunited”.
Martial’s next game could be at PSV on Tuesday in the Champions League, or at Southampton in the Premier League next Sunday.
