Everton have announced the signing of Argentine defender Ramiro Funes Mori from River Plate for £9.5m on a five year deal on transfer deadline day.
Ramiro Funes Mori was recently called up for Argentina’s next set of internationals. The Albiceleste play Mexico and Bolivia in friendly matches in September, before they start their World Cup qualifying campaign in October.
The 24-year-old defender has been linked with a move to Goodison Park throughout the summer, however his transfer was held up by work permit issues.
