Anthony Martial made quite the impact on his first appearance for Manchester United.
Whether he goes on to be the next Thierry Henry or the next Federico Macheda few supporters will ever forget the quite spectacular goal he scored to open his United account against great rivals Liverpool.
Picking up the ball on the left flank he drove inside on his right foot, powering past Martin Skrtel before calmly slotting the ball past Simon Mignolet.
With United on the back-foot, after an equally impressive Christian Benteke bicycle kick had cut the host’s lead to 2-1, the goal was vital in securing United a 3-1 win that took them up to second in the league behind their local rivals.
And after the endless debate over whether Martial represented value for money it was great to be able to simply enjoy a quite stunning goal.
Unfortunately Twitter then went overboard.
Goal against Liverpool on debut. That's how you introduce yourself. Martial is a red!!

Although thankfully the folks at Sporting Intelligence put that goal into perspective.
Brilliant though £32.2m Benteke's goal was, Martial's for 3-1 shows the importance of having an €80m teenager on the bench.
