David Beckham took to Instagram to criticise a Daily Mail report analysing his daughter being pictured with a dummy in her mouth.
The report even featured opinions from "experts" about potential health issues that Harper Seven could face if she continues to use it.
Beckham wrote:
Why do people feel they have the right to criticize a parent about their own children without having any facts ?? Everybody who has children knows that when they aren't feeling well or have a fever you do what comforts them best and most of the time it's a pacifier so those who criticize think twice about what you say about other people's children because actually you have no right to criticize me as a parent ...
Though Beckham and his family are famous and covered relentlessly in the tabloids, it is rare for the former Manchester United and England footballer to come out to attack the way he is covered.
