Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain stars as Gunners stars take on cricket challenge at London Colney

Arsenal were bowled over by West Ham on the opening day but have since recovered to post four (points) on the scoreboard. 

So you can imagine there seemed no better time to invite IPL and and international cricketers Ravi Bopara and Ryan ten Doeschate down to London Colney to put a few of the Gunners first team players through their paces.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Theo Walcott, Gabriel and David Ospina receive a training session from the Essex duo before the quartet pair off and lock horns in a bowl off. 

Walcott and cricket newcomer Gabriel are given a helping hand from Bopara, while Ten Doeschate joins The Ox and Ospina, but it doesn't take long for Oxlade-Chamberlain's competitive streak to take hold.

The England international starts calling out Gabriel for chucking the ball down the wicket. "I don't want to give him that," says the Arsenal man as January signing Gabriel demostrates a very dubious action.
