Despite the Gunners gaining their second league win of the season thanks to an unfortunate own goal from Magpies centre back Fabricio Coloccini it seems that Reds supporters are still not satisfied with the way their side has been playing so far this season.
One fan spoke to ArsenalTV after yesterday’s game and claimed that Saturday’s victory wasn’t even worth celebrating.
It is also clear that fans at the Emirates would like to see manager Arsene Wenger add to his squad before Tuesday’s transfer deadline.
The North London side have been constantly linked with a striker throughout this summer transfer window, but many Arsenal fans are convinced that the side needs to sign a defensive midfielder as cover for Francis Coquelin.
It will be an anxious few days for Gunners fans to see if any more additions arrive in North London within the next few days.
