There were shocking scenes in the French second division over the weekend, as AC Ajaccio’s match against Tours descended into violence.

Ajaccio defender Joris Sainati is now facing a ban, after the player went crazy after the full time whistle.

Sainati lost the plot as he attacked two Tours players after the match.

The Ajaccio defender punched the Tours keeper in the face, before he also punched Haris Belkebla in the kisser. Belkebla was left with blood streaming down his face.
