Juventus have confirmed that they have signed Chelsea winger Juan Cuadrado on a season-long loan deal.
The Italian champions confirmed the deal this afternoon, which may well be the end of the Colombian midfielder’s seven month spell at Stamford Bridge.
Cuadrado arrived in London as part of a £27.1 million deal from Fiorentina with expectations that he would challenge Willian for a berth on the champion’s right flank.
However he failed to adapt to the English game, making just 15 appearances and only four starts. The club’s decision to sign Pedro saw Cuadrado slip even further down the Chelsea pecking order, missing the bench for Sunday’s victory over West Brom.

The 27-year-old is expected to start training with his new team mates today as Juventus prepare for their second Serie A game of the season, a trip to title rivals Roma. The Bianconeri will be hoping that Cuadrado can help them improve on their first result of the season, a shock 1-0 defeat to Udinese.
The signing of Cuadrado saw Mohamed Salah head to Fiorentina, where he impressed greatly, and also required Andre Schurrle be shipped out to German side Wolfsburg.xx
