Chelsea transfer news: Juan Cuadrado to complete Juventus loan move on Monday, confirms club chief

Juventus director Beppe Marotta has revealed the club expect to complete the loan signing of Chelsea's Juan Cuadrado on Monday.

Cuadrado has struggled to impress since arriving in west London for £24million in January, making just four Premier League starts last season. 

The Colombia international looked set to stay at Stamford Bridge earlier in the window after being promised a significant role this season, but the Blues have relaxed their stance and look set to ship Cuadrado out with a view to selling the winger at the end of his spell in Turin. 

“It’s true, Cuadrado will arrive on loan and we want to give Max Allegri the best possible players to work with,” director general Marotta told Sport Mediaset.

"We expect to complete the deal tomorrow. Is Julian Draxler still a target? We'll see. It's difficult, but the market is open until August 31."
